Halloween Events for Adults 2026

Posted on 17/08/202617/08/2026

If you’re looking for things to do this Halloween in the Midlands, you’ve come to the right place.

Yes, we know… it’s still summer. But if you’re hoping to enjoy one of the many brilliant adult Halloween events taking place across the Midlands this autumn, now is definitely the time to start planning.

Halloween events for adults can book up surprisingly quickly, and one of the events we originally planned to include in this guide has already sold out. We don’t want you to miss out on the spooky nights, scary experiences, Halloween parties and themed events happening across the region.

There’s so much going on this year that this post will continue to be updated regularly until the middle of October.

All of the events listed are recommended for ages 18 plus. From murder mysteries and ghost hunts to scare mazes, spooky cinema, Halloween cocktails and an evening of music, there’s something for every kind of Halloween fan.

Crime and Dine, The Space Centre, Leicestershire, LE4 5NS

Step into a night of crime, clues and CSI-inspired investigation this Halloween at the National Space Centre. Enjoy a welcome drink before the mystery unfolds around you, with immersive entertainment, a seasonal three-course dinner and a series of forensic challenges to put your detective skills to the test.

Guided by a retired Scotland Yard investigator, you’ll examine evidence, analyse fingerprints, create photofits, investigate a crime scene and follow the clues as the case develops. But can you separate fact from fiction and crack the case before the final chapter? The evening culminates beneath the stars in the planetarium, where the investigation reaches its dramatic conclusion. Some details remain classified until the night…

Think you’ve got what it takes to solve the crime?
