We were invited along today to watch The McDougalls Safari Adventure at The Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham, and the girls LOVED it. đŻ
The McDougalls are a childrens music and theatre company that know just how to keep little ones entertained. đŚ
Guests are asked to dress as their favourite jungle animal. Mine went as a tiger and a giraffe. But this wasn’t compulsary, you can go dressed as a human too :-). đŚ
The stage was full of bright colours and the characters (Max, Auntie Aggie and Morag, to name a few) filled the stage with happy faces, an abundance of energy, catchy songs and some ‘jokes’. đŚ
As an interactive show everyone is encouraged to clap and sing along, pretend you’re a big fat worm or even a tiger. It is full of fun and laughter as children (& parents) are transported through a safari adventure, whilst being given opportunities to learn your alphabet and do some counting along the way. đ
The McDougalls are back at The Old Rep next year for an underwater adventure, but for now they are continuing their tour across the UK with Liverpools Epstein Theatre coming next on the 29th September. đ
Make sure you pop to the merchandise stand after the show where you might just have the chance to meet some of the characters.
Thank you for a fantastic afternoon. It was a perfect performance. đŚ
