It’s almost Gin-gle bells time and That Gin and Cocktail Bar is the perfect place to visit for your Christmas catch-up with your mates.
๐ง๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ป & ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ธ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ is located on Swan Street in Warwick and is the perfect place to head to if you like a tipple or two… or five (we are definitely not judging). This new concept bar which opened in 2021 is all about taking you on a journey to try new and exciting gin flavours (many made in house, along with plenty of popular and some obscure brands too).
Tell the bar staff your favourite flavours. Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you like a floral flavour? Spicy? The bar staff will create a flavour profile for you, ensuring they serve up a drink that is perfect for you from their extensive range of well over 100 gins.
It’s all about pushing boundaries to find new flavours to enjoy. Or, if you are inclined, you can order from the menu, where you will no doubt find something completely different to take your fancy.
A bakewell gin? Watermelon? Pineapple Cubes? How about a… jalapeรฑo gin?
So many different ones to choose from. Our personal favourite was the Bakewell which was absolutely delicious. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth.
And if you’re not a gin fan they have an array of rums, cocktails and wine to choose from.
The bar seats approximately 60 people and is really well presented. Intimate with candles on the tables and instagrammable with the decorative flower wall art. The staff were incredibly friendly and it was lovely to meet owner Steve whose passion for the business really shone through. Everything here has been well thought out. Even the reusable straws with filter ends. So clever! And the pretty looking garnishes.
They have a menu with food choices including platters, perfect for nibbles when drinking.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go this weekend or later this year, That Gin and Cocktail Bar comes with high praise from us at Small House Big Trips.

Also, for those looking for a Christmas Gift…
Warwick barโs unique business concept goes online and is celebrating national growth by taking its unique pick โnโ mix flavour concept online for the first time.
That Gin Company, which has a bar in Swan Street, is thought to be the first in the country to offer the bottled bespoke flavours by post – a theme which they have also adopted for their new gift range.
As part of a rebrand of their gins, the team is now able to offer customers anywhere in the U.K. the ability to create and purchase their own unique flavour infusions in 50ml, 250ml and 500ml bottles.
Also unveiled as part of the rebrand, are the Gin Gift Sets which include three 250ml flavoured gins and the Cocktail Sets which are supplied with enough ingredients for five cocktails, plus a mini shaker.
That Gin Company owner Steve Bazell said: โVisitors to our website now have the ability to order one of our best-selling flavours or even make up a gift set of all their favourites. Or they can get in touch with us direct to discuss ordering from an even wider selection that can be made to order. These range from the traditional juniper and floral gins through to fruity offerings such as Pineapple, Sicilian Orange, Lemon, and Passionfruit and, for spice lovers, Pink Pepper, Black Pepper & Cardamon or Jalapenos gin. Those with a sweet tooth will be able to choose from a desserts range, including Cherry Bakewell, Black Forest Gateau and Biscoffi.
โThereโs lots of companies who sell a selection of different miniatures and gins but what makes us different from the rest is that we can offer unique gin flavours. Weโre expecting our bespoke miniatures to be particularly popular as wedding favours, for example.โ
Steve added: โAt That Gin Company we are passionate about our customers and ensuring they have a great experience. We want to create gin that you cannot get anywhere else. We believe that we have the largest made to order gin offering in the UK and now itโs also available to access via our website.
โOur passion lies in finding your perfect drink and everything we do is to help the customer find the right drink for them. We hope even more customers can now enjoy the drinks as much as we enjoy making them and find the online purchasing experience a fun and exciting one.โ
The Warwick entrepreneur finally opened the doors to his business in May last year following a string of delays caused by the pandemic. Since then the bar has gone on to become a popular haunt for local gin-lovers.
As well as gin, visitors can select from a range of cocktails, wines and spirits, plus a selection of alcohol-free tipples for the drivers. Thereโs also the option of bottling your new-found favourite gin to take home.
We at Small House Big Trips wish That Gin Company all the success in the world.
