Yesterday we headed to Sutton Park for a few hours.
We love the Park and even better, it is free.
The girls took a little bag each to fill up with a few stones, leaves and sticks to paint when we got home.
They enjoyed running around, finding little things to put in their bags, writing their names in the sand with sticks, saying hello to the wild horses, throwing stones in the water and running over lots and lots of bridges.
It was a really lovely day. We stopped at The Bracebridge Terrace too but I’ll do a separate post on that.
But if you’re looking for something nice to do with the children, that doesn’t cost a single penny, why not take them to the park and go and explore nature.
I entered the Park at the Streetly Gate, parking by the first large field that you pass on your left.
