Today me and the girls headed to our local Sounds Right Phonics Easter Party session run by the amazing Jenna.
If you’re not North Birmingham based you should check online at https://soundsrightphonicsclasses.co.uk/ as the company is expanding faster than ever and their are plenty of fab franchises around including ones in Tamworth/Lichfield and Solihull.
Todays Easter Party was held at the lovely Chester Road Baptist Church on Chester Road on the Erdington/Boldmere border.
We arrived 5 minutes early to todays class and had a look around at the very well decorated room. Jenna always goes above and beyond at the parties, there is always the most amazing table full of homemade cakes, crisps, fruit and drinks. And today Jenna even had an Easter egg for each of the children. An actual full sized one. How lovely is that!
If you follow my blog you’ll hear me rave about these phonics classes quite frequently, as we have been coming since Jemima just turned 2. They really are a God Send to us. Jemima has learnt so much from them. Thank you Jenna!
Todays Easter party was full of the usual fun and games all surrounding the letter of the afternoon, which was ‘B for Bunny’.
Singing, dancing, bubbles, phonics, Robot Reg, pom poms, playdough disco, hopping, jumping, skipping, an Easter Egg hunt and there was even time at the end of the party to do some easter crafts and enjoy the lovely treats that were provided.
We love a good party and an educational one is even better!
If you want to get your child school ready, I really recommend that you book your child onto these sessions. The new term starts in May and you’ll love how much they learn from the classes. And Jennas amazing rapport with all of the children is a complete selling point.
Our end of term review will be up soon, but imagine a session every week as fun as the Easter Party (just minus the food treats) and that’s a Sounds Right Phonics class. Fun and games and masses of smiles whilst learning lots.
