Sleeptight Teepees Slumber Parties

Posted on 09/08/202006/03/2022

Friday night was a treat night for the girls this week. We were reviewing Sleeptight Teepees Slumber Parties and the girls were both having a teepee bed being delivered for the night and they were going to have a Friday night adventure, sleeping in the dining room.

Denise and Tina who run Sleeptight Teepees are lovely and asked what bed themes we would like and sent over an order form with terms and conditions to fill in. We read through this and discussed the time that the beds would be set up.

Denise and Tina arranged to arrive at 2pm to set the beds up. They arrived on time, wearing Masks and PPE and introduced (from a distance) themselves to both me and the girls. I let them know which room to head to and they started setting up the beds as I went upstairs to ensure social distancing was maintained.

The girls eagerly waited at the top of the stairs, telling Tina and Denise their names and how old they were. They were so excited.

After 15 minutes, Tina and Denise called me down to have a look. The room looked fantastic. The beds were great and looked so magical. Balloons, cushions, bedside tables, plastic themed cups, fairy lights and battery operated lanterns. It was perfect.

The girls were called down to look and within seconds, they were on the beds, excited to get in and start using them.

We arranged a 10am collection for Saturday and the girls began their magical evening, playing with the balloons and cuddling the pillows and accessories.

I have to admit, I thought the girls would use the beds to play on, try to sleep but would end up having to go back to their own beds. BUT… I was wrong.

They loved the beds so much that they went to sleep almost immediately. Even with me and my husband watching TV in the next room.

And, furthermore, they slept in longer than usual. They normally wake at 6:30am ready to start the day, but I managed to stay in bed until 8am as they were content in the teepee beds.

The girls loved the beds that much, that they only actually got out of them properly 15 minutes before they were due to be collected and they only got out because I told them we would hire them again soon.

Tina and Denise arrived at exactly 10am to collect the beds and were happy to hear how much fun the girls had. It took roughly 15 minutes for them to remove the beds which I thought was a great turnaround.

As they left, Matilda burst into tears. Sad that they had gone.

We will definitely be hiring these again in the future. They would be a perfect idea for a kids birthday sleepover party or just as a special treat for your children or grandchildren.

Thank you Sleep Tight Teepees for giving my girls a magical evening and being responsible for my much enjoyed Saturday lie-in.
