Last weekend we headed to Beacon Park for a play and decided to grab some lunch whilst out. Me and hubby wanted Thai but Jemima and Matilda didn’t. So we headed up Bird Street checking out a number of restaurants and their menus.
We decided on Ristorante Sorriso and were incredibly thankful for this.

We had such a lovely lunch and the prices (considering the fantastic quality of the food) are great.

We started off with a family Focaccia Aglio (Garlic Bread) for £5.20.

Me and my husband both had the 1 course set menu. For £11.95 each you get to choose a set meal from the menu and a drink (soft drink or alcoholic).

I had a carbonara dish and hubby had a salami and nduja freshly prepared pizza. Both of us didn’t stop commenting on how great they both tasted. And as we had the girls with us, we settled on two soft drinks.

The girls both decided on the meatball dish off the children’s menu (£5.95). Again for the size and quality, this price was fantastic.

For us, the only let down were the drink prices, but this is something we are noticing more and more when we go out.
The girls both had small glasses of apple juice and these were £2.50 each.

This was a very friendly restaurant with attentive service and incredible food. My mouths watering just thinking of our meal out. They were well prepared for children with colouring pencils and menus they could colour on.

We will be back again in the near future.
