PYO Pumpkin Midlands Guide

Posted on 30/08/202006/03/2022

Halloween is getting more and more American-like in the UK as the years go by and being a huge Autumn and Halloween fan myself, I thought a post detailing the best places to visit in 2020 to pick your pumpkins was a must!

As more information comes in about the individual places, we will update the post. Please do share with all your family, friends and fellow ghouls.

Keep reading for the best Pumpkin Fields in and around the Midlands and do let us know if we have missed any out. Or if you have pictures of any of them, that you would like to share.

Staffordshire

Essington Farm, Bognop Road, Wolverhampton, WV11 2AZ

This is one of our favourite places to visit to PYO Pumpkins. Check out our post from our visit at the start of October for more details of what to expect : https://smallhousebigtrips.co.uk/pumpkinpickingatessington/

It is all change for Lower Drayton Farm this year. They’ve had a make-over inside and outside with a new soft play, outdoor sand and play area and they’re determined to bring a special Halloween Touch alongside their PYO Pumpkin Field. Cattows Farm, Swepstone Road, Leicestershire, LE67 2RF

Cattows are not just offering one type of pumpkin to pick in their fields in 2020. No, they have planted 190,000 pumpkins (even white ones), squashes and gourds ready for the picking season which commences on 1st October 2020. Cattows have various crafts and events alongside the PYO Pumpkins and I’m told they do an excellent Halloween Afternoon Tea.
