Today I was popping to see my Dad and decided if I was going to be in Four Oaks, I had to find a bakery named @onthebreadline who I follow on instagram and treat me and my family to some goodies.
Especially the orange chocolate bread that Sebastian Clough (the very amazing 23 year old Baker/creator/founder) had said was going to be freshly made and available to buy today.
It ended up being just around the corner from my Dads which was great – and will now become a regular stop for me when I pop over to Four Oaks.
On The Breadline is a cute little hut on HillCrest Farm on the Worcester Road. What the hut lacks in size, it doesn’t lack in quality and quantity of bakes. Freshly made sandwiches, a large variety of breads, cakes and various bakes. There are drinks and crisps for accompaniments. And the prices are reasonable for the amount of work that must be put in, daily, to these creations.
For £6 you can get a freshly made sandwich (all on freshly baked bread), a cake, a packet of crisps and a drink! What a bargain!
I purchased the orange chocolate bread that I was desperate to try. I have had a slice, warmed up and it is so delicious. You can really taste the orange in the loaf with a subtle chocolate taste. I know the girls will love a toasted slice tomorrow with chocolate spread on for a treat Friday morning breakfast.
Jemima had an M&M rock cake. I tried a bite or two and it was the best rock cake I have ever had. Crunchy on the outside and crumbly on the inside. I instantly regretted not getting one for myself.
I got my husband and daughter a Nutella and Kinder Bueno muffin. There is no scrimping on the chocolate – perfect for those with a sweet tooth (my whole family and me).
I encourage all of you to go and try this amazing bakery. I am so glad that I visited after following the bakery on instagram for a while, drooling over the pictures.

Hi Jan. Tomorrow they have the white truffle, rosemary and sea salt focaccia, mini italian herbed crust sourdough focaccia, guiness sourdough, nutella, cherry and almond tear and share, seeded sourdough, crusty onion sourdough and a few other delights :-).
