Location: Oak Tree Farm, Gravelley Lane, Stonnall, Walsall
Price: £10 per child
Event: Christmas Craft Making – Pallet Trees
We headed to a Christmas Craft Session at Oak Tree Farm in Stonnall earlier in December and it was fantastic.
Matilda and Jemima (and all of the other children) were given all of the materials (in stages and with demonstrations) to hammer together, paint, glitter, drill the base onto and add lights to. All of the materials and demonstrations were included within the £10.
We even got to meet the friendliest Father Christmas EVER and have photos taken together. Father Christmas was there throughout the session, chatting to all of the children, available for pictures and to help with the crafts. He was a great Father Christmas who took the time to chat to everyone. Offering for families to have individual photos or photos of the full family together.
There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash available for parents, with cakes too (at a small charge).
All children were given a fruit shoot (within the cost of the activity).
The craft sessions all sold out before we attended ours (hence the delayed review), so you’ll have to wait and see what other fab ideas they have for next year with Father Christmas and book on in November when they are announced. I’ll be sharing the details on my Facebook site which is @smallhousebigtrips1
