I’d never heard of this place before and it is the perfect place to come to after you have been to the PYO Sunflower field in Kineton (see previous review post). It’s a garden centre selling culinary, medical and heirloom herbs, fruit trees, shrubs, planters and all things garden based.
It is the perfect place to visit for the family as it has something for everyone.
Children can enjoy running through the maze which has the most amazing views reaching towards Banbury.
There’s also two play areas for the children which include swings and a slide.
Matilda really enjoyed playing on these. Whilst I enjoyed the views.
There’s a licenced bistro offering delicious, freshly prepared food (including a large array of cakes, I chose the lemon one which was yummy).
There’s a large variety of drinks to choose from too. I had a rose lemonade. You can eat indoors or outdoors. And bring your dogs too (although they have to stay outdoors, not in the bistro).
There’s a nature trail you can follow through a valley amongst fields of herbs, by ponds and through woodland. We didn’t try this but the details say there are three walks, with the longest being an hour. And you can see a variety of wildlife including deer and a white stag.
A perfect trip out for all of the family.
