Kid’s Hair Play

Posted on 27/08/201906/03/2022

Today we headed over to Kid’s Hair Play in Sutton Coldfield.

The girls were excited about having their hair cuts after I told them what they can expect once there.

They weren’t disappointed.

A play area for little ones, TV with plenty of programmes to choose from (they watched Peppa Pig but could have chosen from an array of kids shows), drinks (water/squash) are offered, they have the toy cars to sit in for little ones, or typical hairdresser chairs for older children and the whole experience is relaxing.

They have a Nintendo ds and other things for older kids but mine were happy with the play area and tv. It seemed all the other children were happy with the service too. There were no tears, no sadness, everyone was just happily having their hair done. Quite a feat considering the other customers all looked 2 and under.

The girls loved playing as we waited for our appointment slot. The toys in the play mat section are aimed at children aged 4 and under. Matilda and Jemima played happily here for the whole time I needed them in there (we arrived 10 minutes early and when one was having their hair cut, the other played).

They decided to sit in the red car (they have a pink and a red one) and they were happy to sit and watch Peppa Pig whilst having their hair cut.

Both girls sat lovely and the lady cutting their hair was incredibly friendly. Which makes all of the difference.

They happily posed by the flower wall after.

It cost me £12 per child and they got to choose a packet of sweets each (parents are asked first away from kids ears if thats okay), a packet of bubbles each and a Kids Hair Play sticker. They also got to choose a balloon each to take away.

The salon also had a few cute hair accessories that you could buy.

We will definitely be going back in a couple of months for our next trim.

Why not give them a follow 🙂
