Now all the important details are written out, I can get down to the interesting bits. It was SO much fun.
There is lots that you can do here;
Climbing tower, battle duel, bungee run, assault course, vertical drop slide, wrecking ball, ufo shaking table, cross training, a giant ball jump (remember wipeout on the TV where the contestants had to jump from one giant ball to the next?), cross jungle, human hungry hippo game, balance ladder and a boxing ring with the most gigantic boxing gloves ever. Just check out Matilda wearing them.
There was a section where I stood for quite a while giggling, where people had to jump off a platform (two jumping platforms so you can race your friend) onto a bouncy pad. So many people (male and female, young and old) kept turning back and refusing to jump. My husband did it but I sadly didn’t get chance to record it or take a picture.
Children 5 and over can go into the main section. Matilda loved it in there. She tried a bit of everything, laughing hysterically most of the time.
Her favourites were the slide…
… and the assault course.
Where she climbed, bounced, fell over and eventually lay in an inflatable ring laughing, unable to move any further.
If they are under 5, then it’s the toddler section for them.
This is where Jemima stayed (me and her dad took it in turns to play with her whilst the other played with Matilda in the main section).
In the toddler section you can find a slide, basketball hoops, climbing wall, ball pool, hide and seek den, sit on animal, magic air vents blowing the balls up in the air, tunnel and lots of bouncy fun. It was nice to have a place where Jemima could run around, fall over and not hurt herself.
On the website it states that if you book online, you can attend a toddler session between 9am and 10am where toddlers can go into the main area too.
A fantastic time was had by all four of us and although we had received tickets to review the centre for 90 minutes, by the time we had bounced for an hour, we were ready to head home, exhausted but happy.
Me and my husband both said that we would also love to go back minus the children. It would be a great place to meet with your mates to have a different type of gathering. A hen party or stag do location, a team building afternoon out, a birthday party (both kids and adults) and a general get together with friends. And it’s so big that it can take a capacity of up to 120 people.
On that note, I think I might organise a get together with some friends.
