We loved the Elf Centre which can be found opposite the Holland and Barrett shop.
Here Father Christmas’s elves take you through a number of fun activities. Firstly, the elf on the door makes you an object out of balloons… We saw all sorts being made. Sadly I have a latex allergy, so ours didn’t get to have any.
Inside the elves help you to write and colour your own letter to Father Christmas, where another elf helps you to stamp it and put it into the post box.
Next stop is a colouring table. The children get to colour their own finger puppets from a variety of Christmas designs.
Before heading over to have their photo taken in a chistmassy scene. You get to take your professional 6×4 photo home with you, for free, which I thought was great.
Next it was time for glitter tattoos. Jemima had a pink Christmas tree and Matilda chose an angel which she had green glitter on.
Parents are offered hot mulled wine by Mrs Christmas (which is a very tasty herbal tea with no wine in it). And the whole experience was lovely.
And all for FREE!
So if you want to do some Christmas shopping and need to talk the children into coming, tell them you’ll take them to see the elves.
Well done Resorts World.
A great Christmas idea.
