Earlier this week, me and my best friend Leanne headed to a Flowerology Autumn Wreath Making workshop.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but knew I was excited about a) having a catch up with Leanne and b) catching up whilst learning a new skill.
We arrived on time and headed into the venue which for this workshop was Pure Craft Bar and Kitchen on Waterloo Road in Victoria Square, where we were kindly gifted a complimentary drink of our choice as part of the session. We both tried craft colas (Fritz-Kola) but others chose glasses of wine. You literally got to choose whatever drink you wanted.
We soon headed downstairs to a private room which was ready for 7 people to begin the Autumn Wreath workshop which with booking fees came to £41 each.
It was all laid out lovely and I couldnt wait to get started.
All of the materials are provided and it is wreath making the Victorian way with a ring – so much better for the environment.
I learnt how to cover and secure the ring with fresh moss.
And then I learnt how to add foilage to the wreath.
The session was easy to follow, with help on hand if required.
I was really happy with my wreath. Achieving something that I did not think I would be able to manage. I now want to make more and am awaiting the Christmas Wreath workshops to be advertised, so I can book on.
If you are looking for a catch up with a friend, whilst learning a new skill and being able to take your finished product home with you, I really recommend Flowerology wreath making classes.
My house currently smells amazing from the eucalyptus in the wreath 😍.
