Yesterday we headed to Hamstead Library (part of Sandwell Libraries) for the FREE (donations welcome) session of Fizz Pop Science.
Please do check out Sandwell Libraries, they always have loads of fun activities on.
Both girls had a lovely time. They got to do two experiments. One with different powders to see how they reacted to water. One absorbed the water and one retracted the water.
They also got to make their own slime (thanks Fizz Pop! Ha). Dr Astro (I think was his name) also got the group to watch him conduct an experiment with fire.
The kids loved it.
The session was for an hour and didn’t need to be prebooked.
Fizzpop Science do sessions at schools too if you’re a head teacher or head of science looking for something to add to your school. They also do school parties too.
