Easter is just around the corner, and there’s already plenty of events advertised. Have a look through our list and share it with your friends/family who might also benefit from our guide (we will be updating it daily). We have separated it into boroughs, so you can find your area and the events closer to you, more easily.

Thursday 6th April: Easter Cards
Join us for our Easter craft day and spread the joy of Easter by making your own Easter card! You can either try your hand at following the templates to make an Easter chick card or a rabbit card alternatively, you can also make your own design. Then keep them or gift them to someone special.

Thursday 13th April: Bracelet Making
For this crafty day we will be making bracelets. We will be using our many types of beads, string and you may even put your initials or name on your very own bracelet. Be as creative as you like with your design and we look forward to seeing your creations.

Easter is a special time of year at Becketts Farm. Join us for a fun-filled event where you will learn about the chick hatching process, and if you’re lucky, you may see one hatching! There will also be Ewes and Lambs, Goats and Kids and Chickens.

Hop on down to Selly Manor this Easter for eggcellent activities inspired by Peter Rabbit, Miss Tiggywinkle, Jeremy Fisher, and friends.

Eggsplore the garden and take part in our fantastic egg hunt, get creative, and create some eggtremely cool Easter themed crafts plus play games in the lovely Selly Manor garden. Plus, you can visit the Tudor manor for dressing up, a family trail, and lots of hands-on experiences.

This event runs from Monday 3rd – Friday 14th April, 10am-5pm (last entry at 3.30pm).

11. Easter at Aston Hall, Trinity Rd, Birmingham B6 6JD

Head to Aston Hall this Easter for some magical interactive storytelling with Tall Tales from Around the World!

On Fridays 7 & 14 April, you can discover the magical stories of Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast. You will explore the hall and meet some of the fascinating characters from these tales as the story unfolds, there will be plenty of chances to take part in the story too. Kids will also get to have a go at a themed craft activity.

Sandwell Events

1. Sandwell Valley

Head to Sandwell Valley from 1st – 10th April 2023, for a magical Easter and meet the Easter Bunny in his burrow for an extra special family experience.

Mr E Bunny will be waiting in his burrow with his springtime helpers ready to greet families and children. We have heard he has some chocolate gifts to hand out. There will also be some great entertainment to keep the whole family happy along with some brilliant Easter craft activities. There is also a fabulous Easter trail to navigate.

It’s nearly the Easter holidays, and that can only mean one thing – time for Little Skippers!

Join us during the Easter holidays and enjoy some fun-filled crafts. Activities will run on the 13th, 14th & 15th April.

The Magic Alley Detective Agency presents -The Case of The Disappearing Dragon Egg.

One of Erek’s dragon eggs has gone missing – can you solve the mystery of its disappearance and determine if it is magic or mischief?
This whodunit is set in within our current event Witchcraft and Wizardry but will provide a different type of challenge to the usual quest.

By the end of the quest you will be asked to determine whether the egg was stolen by one of the suspects or whether it has disappeared as if by magic! If you do decide it is one of the suspects you will be required to tell us who you think it was, which room the egg disappeared from and the motive of the suspect who stole it.

Staffordshire Events

1. Chasewater Country Park, Chasewater Innovation Centre Chasewater Country Park Pool Lane Brownhills WS8 7NL

Join us this Easter Half term, starting Saturday 1st April until Sunday 16th April for our eggcellent Easter Egg hunt. You can purchase your trail map at the Innovation Centre. From 10am until 3:30pm.

Trail maps are £3 each, prize included.

The Canadian rainbow firecracker Dragon, has had her precious egg stolen! Using the map of the South Shore, can you help Harelock Holmes and Dr Hoppson find the missing dragon egg? Be on the look out for decoys, Mori, the Artful Fox has been disguising other eggs as dragon eggs to scupper the investigation.

Once you have completed the hunt, you can collect your prize from reception in the Innovation Centre.

2. Manor Farm Fruits, Watling Street, Hints, Tamworth, B78 3DF

We’re delighted to announce that our Easter Bunny Trail will be open every day from Saturday, 1st April through until Sunday, 16th April (10am – 3.30pm). That’s 16 days of fantastic family fun here at the farm. A wonderful woodland walk with fabulous views.

Benjamin our cheeky Easter Bunny, has left some decorations for you to find. You’ll need to follow the trail and hop around to find the clues, answer the questions, and track that little bunny down.

If you manage to ‘crack’ the Easter code, there will be a chocolate treat waiting for you at the end. Yummy!

Our Snack Shack will be open with a lovely outdoor seating area so you can take a well-earned breather afterwards, while the children enjoy some outdoor play on the ‘Bounce & Climb’; Straw Pyramids, Climbing Frame and Bouncy Castles (weather permitting).

Tickets for the Easter Bunny Trail are:

£4.50 for adults (this includes a FREE hot drink)
£6.50 for children aged 2-12 (this includes an Easter Treat). Under 2’s are free. Each child ticket includes an activity sheet.

3. Middleton Hall and Gardens

Join us for our Easter trail around Middleton Hall & Gardens. Solve the clues, collect the eggs and figure out the password to claim your prize!

The trail is aimed at children up to the age 12 (smaller children may need a hand from their adults) but older visitors can take part too! The trail will be inside and outside but all on ground level with minimal steps although some surfaces will be a bit uneven.

All children will receive a trail card to guide them through the activity and a prize at the end of their visit, such as a chocolate bunny or non-chocolate bunny.

Easter Egg Hunt and Trail. Hop, skip and jump along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.

Join us for a cracking adventure quest at Stokesay Castle this Easter holiday (Sat 1 – Sun 16 April 2023). Explore the grounds and gardens to hunt for clues and challenges and discover traditional Easter games. Track down the Easter eggs and you’ll be rewarded with an adventurer’s certificate and a tasty chocolate treat.

The quest costs just £2, which you can pay when you arrive at the site. This is in addition to the normal ticket price.

You can take on the quest every day of the school holidays. With eggs, chocolate and family fun, it’s the perfect way to get out and about in history this Easter.

Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 25 March to 16 April, from 8am to 5pm, with last trails sold at 4pm, so come along and explore the beautiful grounds of Attingham Park.

This Easter, join Alice at Telford Steam Railway as she embarks on a journey down the rabbit hole for some incredible adventures on her way to Wonderland.

Join us at our Easter Woods, where children get an activity sheet to hunt for letters hidden on egg cutouts within our woods. Write down the letters to then work out what the Easter-themed word is at the end. Be sure to show a staff member you have figured out the word at the end to be given a small gift.

We love Easter so much, it’s not even bunny. If you do as well, then our Easter Woods is the place for you. This experience isn’t just for children as everyone is welcome, including your furry friends. It is filled with many Instaworthy photo opportunities. 32nd St Matthews Guiding Units are having a Craft Fayre with children’s activities on April
