- Easter at Sandwell Valley
Meet the Easter Bunny himself. Mr E Bunny will be waiting in his rabbit house with his Springtime helpers ready to greet families and children. With a chocolate gift for all children (within the ticket price). Stage entertainers will be there to keep the whole family happy, along with some brilliant Easter craft activities. There is also a fabulous Easter trail to navigate.
In addition, they will have plenty of food and drink available in the tearooms, from Easter cakes to marshmallow topped luxury hot chocolates. Then don’t miss the shop where they have stocked up on some lovely springtime gifts, toys and locally sourced products.

2. Easter Egg Hunts at the National Trust
Join the National Trust for an Easter adventure in nature in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Discover the family-friendly trails with fun activities for you to do along the way. Complete the trail and earn your chocolate reward at the end.
Easter Adventures in Nature from the 9th April 2022.
Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family.
Hop, skip and jump into Easter and look out for the ten activity points around the gardens. Use the activity sheet to record your family adventure and get active in the outdoors. Get ready to spot the colours of spring, waddle like a duckling and be eagle-eyed. Take as long as you need, have fun and take it all in! Once you have completed the trail, collect your chocolate egg (or allergen free) reward.
£3 per trail and includes a trail sheet, pencil and chocolate egg at the end. Normal admission costs apply, no booking required.

3. Blakesley Hall Easter Egg Event
From 13th to 17th April and 20th to 24th April 2022 you can join Blakesley Hall on an eggsciting Easter Egg Hunt Trail. Find all the eggs in the garden complete the hunt and claim your prize! On the 14th they have a crafty Easter Egg Craft session too.

4. Hatton Adventure World
From 9th to 24th April 2022 Hatton World are back with their Spring Spectacular programme is back for Easter. The farm will be packed with baby animals… piglets, lambs, chicks and goat kids in their very own Spring Arrivals Marquee. Wait patiently and you might even witness a birth! With 3 Easter Egg hunts a day, this is a real Easter experience.
There’s lots to see and do: Seek thrills on our outdoor funfair rides and bouncy castles! Get up close to our baby animals, explore our native wildlife on our spring walks. 5. West Midland Safari Park
Easter at West Midland Safari Park runs from 9th – 24th April 2022 and they will be open at the earlier time of 9:30am.
This Easter, meet Bramble, the Park’s resident Easter Bunny, who has built his burrow in the Discovery Trail. Look out for him at intervals during the day, where he will be greeting guests and showing them around his new home. There may even be the chance to snap a selfie with him!
Take part in the Scratchcard Trail. In Bramble’s haste to build his burrow, he accidently misplaced some Easter eggs, which have got muddled up with some of the animal nests! Little eggsplorers need to find the colourful eggs, scratch off the correct colour and hand their trail in, so Bramble can locate the eggs. As a thank you, they will earn a chocolatey prize.
Make sure you stop at the Easter Photo Point for a picture in Bramble’s garden to share on your social media account. Post it to the WMSP Facebook page to be entered into a prize draw to win a Family Annual Pass! How great is that!

6. Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Peter Rabbit the Immersive Experience comes to the Botanical Gardens for Easter on April 21st, 22nd and 23rd.
This captivating immersive experience in the heart of Birmingham Botanical Gardens will certainly bring an hour of excitement to creatures of all ages. Their adaptation of the classic Beatrix Potter classic, will have you giggling at Jeremy Fisher, avoiding capture by Farmer McGregor and helping Peter Rabbit save the day.
The experience breaks down those traditional theatre walls transporting audiences into the completely magical, madness of Peter Rabbit. Take an hour-long journey through dance, puppetry, music and comedy. Featuring professional performers, fantastic costumes and beautiful scenery.

8. Funtastic Countrytastic
Families looking for things to do with the kids this Easter break should look no further than CountryTastic, a family-friendly one-day event on Thursday 14 April at Three Counties Showground, Malvern.

Jam packed with interactive learning experiences, farmyard friends and oodles of countryside fun, CountryTastic is an unforgettable immersive day out aimed at children aged 5-11 years old taking place on the Thursday before Easter weekend.
Kids and their parents can expect to experience the wonders of the British countryside through a variety of animal, food and science-based interactive features included in the ticket price of £9 per adult, £5 per 5–11-year-old. The event is free for under 3s.
Learning whilst having fun is the aim of the game at CountryTastic with a packed programme of demonstrations in the Ask the Farmer classroom, where the UK’s favourite TV farmer Adam Henson will be returning as ambassador for the show.

Young adventurers can get involved in wild activities in the Really Rural zone, such as den making, natural painting and wild detective skills, or have-a-go cricket activities hosted by Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
Aspiring chefs can learn about food and where it comes from by getting involved in interactive workshops and cook-a-longs including making pasties with Ladies in Pigs, Easter bread making workshops with Get Cooking! or learn about cheese with Croome Cuisine.
Arts and crafts will be on offer throughout the event for children to try out their skills and take something home like corn dolly making, make your own hoolahoop with Junk Fish, or clay pottery workshops with Eastnor Pottery.

9. Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust
Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust have a number of events over Easter for you to book on to.
Firstly, how about Alice in Easter Wonderland? Tickets are £10.00 each for adults and children, with under 3’s going free. Included in the ticket price is of course a fun themed boat trip, an activity card and a sweet treat.
Keep your eyes peeled for the costumed characters wondering around site too!
Or you could book on for Little Skippers. Where you can roll up those sleeves and prepare to get a little bit messy with hand printed bunnies, Easter egg cards, lollipop characters and even a puppet theatre to play with and help your handmade characters come to life.

10. Umberslade Estate Easter Walk
From Saturday 9th April to Sunday 24th April you can go on a 3km Estate Walk with an Easter Trail for the children. You will enjoy a Willow Artist “Hare” Sculpture Trail. The walk is not suitable for pushchairs, so a baby carrier is a must for little ones.

21. Middleton Hall Easter Trail
Join Middleton Hall for their Easter trail around Middleton Hall & Gardens. Hunt for giant Easter eggs to reveal clues and discover the secret password to win your chocolate prize!
The trail is aimed at children up to the age 12 (smaller children may need a hand from their adults to solve the clues) but older visitors can take part too!

22. Dragon Egg Hunt
From 12th Apr 2022 to 24th Apr 2022 Tamworth Castle will be hosting a Dragon Egg Hunt and providing Dragon Charming activities.
Visitors will be invited to learn about the craft of ‘dragon charming’ and the ‘care of dragons’. Techniques will include how to track and identify a dragon from its footprints and dragon healthcare.

23. Touchwood Shopping Centre Easter Fun
Peter Rabbit™ is coming to Touchwood Solihull this Easter break.

Keep an eye out for hidden surprises and hunt down the hidden letters to spell out an Easter anagram when you complete the maze – there will be lollipops for every completed anagram!
Head-on into the main centre for more animal fun and follow the moo-tastic trail to find Dotty and Daisy. Touchwood’s very own cows have moo-ved into the centre, and those lucky enough to locate them will be rewarded with a unique photo opportunity!
With lots of other exciting activities happening throughout the school holidays, including face-painting and balloon modelling, Touchwood is sure to entertain this Easter.
