Domo Boutique Hotel

Situated on the outskirts of Birmingham, Domo Boutique Hotel brings class, finesse and elegance to the local area. A hotel created by Ali, the General Manager who has a brilliant eye for detail.

Consisting of 5 boutique rooms, all oozing 5 star, stylish luxury design decor transporting you to various countries and experiences. All inside a 150 year old building which has undergone huge renovations to bring it to its current beautiful restored and upgraded self.

The hotel sits on Church Square, a picturesque square in central Oldbury, home to a pretty red brick church. The front of the hotel catches your eye immediately and oozes class.

On entering the hotel, the chandelier and well positioned mirrors make the hallway large and inviting, The wallpaper striking and impressive. Every area and section of this hotel has been carefully designed and thought out.

The rooms are all unique, portraying lavish interiors created by the likes of interior designers such as Liang and Eimil, Roberto Cavalli and RV Astley. Bespoke design, rich fabrics, and the use of various textures throughout the building is evident from the time you enter. In the Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street’s words “This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen”.

It was notable that all rooms were sound proof too and all included a 49″ television with 4000+ TV channels and apps available to use. Perfect for those who enjoy watching a film or series in bed and like to have the volume a little louder. All rooms come with 2 matching 100% Egyptian Cotton Bathrobes, luxury toiletries from Cole & Lewis and Basic Earth Botanicals, an Iron, Hairdryer and Tea Making facilities.

Hygge Suite

A stunning Superking 4 poster log bed with designer wet room and rainfall shower. Art decor interior with ambient lighting.

Regency Suite

A floor to ceiling tall velour superking bed captures your attention immediately as you enter this room along with an ornate lounge chaise perfect for sitting and reading a book on whilst looking outside onto the garden terrace. The other side of the room boasts a fabulous view onto the redbrick Church on the square.

Mayfair Suite

A velour superking bed and ornate chaise are the focal point of this room which boasts a dark royal blue and orange interior. A desk with a view, situated by the window facing the picturesque Church square. This is a warm and inviting room. It boasts a designer wet room with rainfall shower.

Venetian Suite

This room, one of the larger suites, has the most amazing features including the Palais Royal Avenue Upholstered King Bed and hand carved chaise which ooze quality and a beautiful walk in designer white pebble open wet room with rainfall shower, ceiling window and separate toilet.

Momarra Suite

Opulent furniture, orange interior walls and an ornate King upholstered bed bring some Marrakech vibes to this beautiful suite. The walk in wet room boasts antique brown hexagon tiling with demisting mirror and rainfall shower.

The Marrakech vibes continued into the Elham Cafe which for the opening had a beautiful spread of tasty cakes, bakes and delights but now open will be offering a Brunch experience that caters for all seasons enriched with colour in beautiful surroundings.

Domo Boutique Hotel say “there is plenty to indulge in, from our signature coffees to your favourite desserts. The Elham experience is extended to the Domo terrace in a private leafy surrounding during the spring and summer months. The courtyard is decked with sunburnt coloured terracotta sandstone and subtle ambient lighting, the trickling of the stone waterfall as a backdrop is the perfect invitation to indulge in a beautiful summer’s evening on the Domo terrace. So whether you are here for a meeting or just wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle, the Elham experience is ready when you are”.

The Elham Cafe is currently only open for guests at the hotel but long term plans may see it opening up with Afternoon Tea for local people who want the Domo Boutique experience minus the hotel stay.

Conclusion: We thought the hotel was stunning and would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a hotel stay with a difference, Whether it’s a treat away for a birthday, a business trip or even just a well deserved night treat to yourself as a bit of an escape. This is the place to stay.
