Yesterday evening we were incredibly lucky to have an evening at Disney On Ice including a meet and greet with Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
The girls were so happy meeting Minnie and Mickey Mouse. They were first in the queue and eagerly ran to meet them when they entered the room. Jemima went straight in for a hug. And at one point I thought she might not let Minnie go.
After the meet and greet we headed to check out all of the memorabilia/merchandise stands.
The girls wanted everything but we persuaded them to just choose one snack each and they shared a slush between them.
Matilda had a bucket of popcorn which was £10, Jemima had a bag of candy floss which was £10 and came with a crown and they both shared a slush drink that was £9 (but you get to keep the cup it is in and there’s various cups of different prices that you can choose).
We then headed into the arena ready to watch the show. As you can see in the picture below, there are stands within the arena jsut before the show starts and during the interval.
The show was fantastic. So much fun. So many Disney scenes and characters and so many happy children and adults.
There are plenty of opportunities to sing along, shine your lights and wave at all of the characters.
I don’t want to spoil the whole experience but here’s a few of my favourite scenes/bits. Just imagining all of the ice skaters underneath some of these amazing costumes, amazes me.
And the fantastic skating /dancing was mesmerising. So mesmerising that Jemima was so captivated by the whole show that during one scene she shed a tear.
Our show started at 6:30pm and finished at 8:20pm. With a 15 minute interval in the middle.
With two incredibly happy girls we will definitely be coming back again.
It is on until Sunday, so still plenty of time to get yourself some tickets, which you can find here: http://www.disneyonice.com/
