Cristina’s Kitchen

Posted on 17/07/202006/03/2022

Wow. Just wow.

Yesterday the wonderful Cristina’s Kitchen dropped off some of her very wonderful bakes for us to try and review.

And I have to admit they were absolutely amazing. Perfect even.

Cristinas attention to detail is phenomenal. Each individual bake was eye catching and tasty. You can tell Cristina really takes pride in her work and I can only imagine a lot of time and effort goes into each creation. These weren’t creations thrown up quickly in a kitchen, these were an artists piece of work. Someone with an innate love for what they do. A real passion.

We had a Fruittu di Bosco with Toasted Hazelnut cake. A beautifully presented 4 tiered chocolate sponge cake with raspberries, strawberries, cherries, blackberries, blueberries and the outside isn’t coated with buttercream, instead it is fresh cream (which is also used inside the layers too). I can’t put into words just how delicious this was. If you have a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion, you need to purchase this cake. Or even just as a family treat one lovely summers weekend .

We also had a Lemon and Blueberry Cake in a Jar with a homemade lemon curd. This was sweet, zingy and full of flavour. These would make ideal gifts for friends, teachers, NHS staff. Basically anyone you want to say a little thanks to.

Our final baked treat was a Coconut and Raspberry Macaroon Slice. Oh my. I wish I could bake like this. It came presented in a cute baking paper wrapper with a little ribbon. Again, another ideal gift for someone.

Cristina’s Kitchen is Birmingham based and if you want quality bakes that will impress everyone both visually and taste wise. This is the business to contact. Cristina’s key selling point is Brazilian Cuisine with a Twist. Do check out her social media pages for some very tasty bakes to look at.

Thank you so much for letting us try your bakes.

If you would like to contact Cristina and book some amazing bakes. Here is her business card with her social media accounts too.

Disclaimer : We were gifted these amazing treats from Cristina, in return for an honest review. We absolutely loved them.

Omg… the frutti di bosco cake is a pure dream but the raspberry macaroon slices are tiny temptation ^_^
