Cakes a Daisy

Posted on 20/03/2022

Cakes-a-Daisy have been a firm favourite of ours for about 7 years now. Located in Cheslyn Hay, not too far from Cannock Chase or Walsall (kind of in the middle).

Milly who owns the business, is the epitome of girl boss. Starting her own business very young, putting in all the hours and wowing everyone from far and wide with her fabulous creations. She is everyone’s inspiration and the perfect role model for young children everywhere.

Open Fridays 12pm to 9pm and Saturdays 9:30am to 9pm. For both eat-in and takeaway, you have plenty of time to indulge in the most epic selection of cakes and bakes you will ever see and taste.

We tried some of the selection of milkshakes, Bubble Gum, Malteser and a Chocolate Milkshake and they were delicious. I chose the Ferrero Roche luxury hot chocolate which was very tasty. Might be my favourite hot chocolate.

For desserts the girls chose a Freddo Brownie and a Malteser Brownie, my husband had a Mars Caramel Cookie Dough which came with a bowl of chocolate ice cream (he said it was the best cookie dough he had tried) and I went for a creme egg cookie dough chocolate bombe which had me in chocolate heaven (and I had to take half home with me as it was so filling).

Before eating our cakes we had discussed buying some more on our way out to take home with us. But we didn’t as we were so full. I think we might come back next weekend though to treat ourselves to some more. Maybe after a walk around Cannock Chase.

If you head along, don’t forget to take a photo at the flower photo wall and let us know what goodies you tried.

You can also pre-book afternoon teas, bespoke cakes and traybake creations.

Come and visit this real gem of a bakery.
