Location: Brunswick Park, Wood Green Road or Brunswick Park Road, Wednesbury, WS10 9QR
Opening Hours: From dawn to dusk.
“Brunswick Park was opened in 1887 to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee. The park offers a range of facilities including outdoor gym equipment, childrens play area, multi gamed area, tennis courts, skate park area, bandstand, football and circular walks” – Quoted from Sandwell Council website.
We headed there for our first time yesterday for somewhere different to get some fresh air. And we thought the park was a lovely space.
The play equipment is for ages 4 plus on the sign but I think it’s suitable for ages 2 plus.
There’s plenty of equipment for the children to go on; three slides (one large one that the girls loved), swings (even one of those swings an adult and a baby can sit on together like a swing boat, but I forgot to take a picture), obstacle course section, climbing frame, roundabouts, firemans pole and more.
The girls loved playing Hide and Seek around the huge tree trunks.
The park had a skate park area which was popular and a multisports area for basketball and football.
There’s free parking and the park is clean and tidy and very well kept.
If like me, you like to vary the parks you go to, give this one a try š
