BMOS are back this winter at The Alexandra Theatre performing Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure until Saturday 25th November, with tickets starting from £14.30.
The production is based on J.M.Barrie’s original play (with permission from Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children) and features music and lyrics by the award-winning duo Anthony Drewe and George Stiles. With music played by the incredibly talented Midland Concert Orchestra, directed by Phil Johnson.
The show included some epic singing performances including Michele Worthington’s performance of ‘Just Home’ (in the role of the Storyteller), Annabel Pilcher’s solo performance of ‘Just Beyond the Stars (Reprise)’ (in the role of Wendy) and even Captain Hook (Alistair Jolliffe) gave us a great rendition of ‘A Pirate with a Conscience’.
We giggled and smiled throughout the performance and although their were a few snags in this evenings performance (a few sound issues, flying troubles and a kennel that wanted to join in with the flying) we thoroughly enjoyed the show and it didn’t take away from the fact that this was a very talented cast.
It is a real family show (those aged 6 and above) and has moments to wow you, a chance for some audience participation and plenty to keep you entertained… and, the most adorable dog! And crocodile!
Matilda (aged 10) gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jemima (aged 7) gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
