Location: Becketts Farm, Wythall, B47 6AJ,
Price: £1 per person. £4 extra if you would like to do the sand art.
The Easter event is on until April 15th 2018.
Becketts Farm currently have a marquee tent in the field behind the farm shop, housing baby chicks and grown up chickens, baby goats (kids), lambs, miniature donkeys, a milk the pretend cow, Easter egg colouring competition and a sand art section which lots of the children seemed to love.
We headed along as a family today to give it a try and we were pleasantly surprised. We had worried that a marquee tent in a field might not be worth our 30 minute car journey to get there, but it was. The girls had a lovely time. Matilda stroked the donkeys, Jemima enjoyed milking the ‘cow’ and they both had so much fun doing their sand art pictures. And it was nice to see them both out together having fun, now Jemima is no longer contagious from her recent chicken pox.
We probably spent about an hour in the tent but then popped next door to @shirleyaquatics (more about here in another post) and grabbed some bits of shopping from the Becketts Farm shop.
If you’re within a 30 minute journey of Becketts Farm, I really recommend it with your little ones. Especially for £1. There’s not many places you can visit these days that only cost £1.
Jemima definitely enjoyed her first trip out after. She even posed for a selfie with me.
