I am a huge fan of breakfast and Arco Lounge in Harborne is the perfect place to head to if you like a spot of brunch too. With a number of breakfast items from pancakes, to full english breakfasts, there’s something for everyone on this menu. They even have seperate vegan and vegetarian menus.
We recently visited Verdo Lounge in Sutton Coldfield which won us over (review post here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CFPVdjYlB93/?igshid=fj42vx7ig4w3), so we decided to test out the sister bar, Arco Lounge and we were not disappointed.
The same welcoming, cosy environment. Clean, hygienic, ordering from your tables via an app to minimise contact with staff. It was perfect. The retro chic lounge bar and diner is set in a former building society and serves not only (the tastiest ever) brunch but tapas and a typical pub style menu too.
For breakfast hubby had the Lounge Large Breakfast and I had the Pancakes with streaky bacon and maple syrup (with two poached eggs as a side – yum!).
There are a variety of drinks (just as lengthy as the food menu) and they’re so good, that me and my husband had 2 each with our brekkie. I went for a Virgin Mango Colada (I had this at the Verdo lounge and it was just as good here) and a banana milkshake and hubby had a pot of tea and a sherbert lemon mocktail.
If you’re looking for a great place to meet with friends, catch up with a fellow mum, or have a few drinks over a bit of food with family, Arco Lounge is the place to head to.
