If you follow me on instagram, you will often see me updating my stories and tagging Buckt in a large proportion of my posts. My last one was Walsall’s Scaremaze on Friday evening which got me in the mood for Halloween and sent me running straight to the Jekyll and Hyde after for some cocktails to recover.
If you read my website, you’ll know Buckt is the monthly subscription I have, where for £25 a month, you and one other (me and my husband in this case) get FIVE exciting surprise trips out to do, in and around Greater Birmingham. You can do them all that month, or if you have a busy month, can spread them out over two months. And you save LOTS of money.
Recently I did a post talking about my top 8 activities via Buckt. You can read it here. And it is these activities (along with many many more) that you can head along to with your subscription.
My first Buckt subscription box included Grange Live Gamings Rage Room which I am certain is in everyones first box. It is worth a total of around £40 by itself and it is SO much fun. You basically get dressed up in a boiler room outfit with your plus one, get to pick a baseball bat or other lethal weapon and smash up keyboards, computer screens and glass bottles. I’m quite a relaxed, placid person, but I thoroughly enjoyed this, I found it rather therapeutic. Seeing the keys from a keyboard fly across the room was quite an experience.
From Monday 22nd October to 29th October 2018, if you sign up to Buckt using our code SMALLHOUSEBIGTRIPS625 (make sure you use capslock) you can get your first month for only £6.25. Five activities for you and one other person for only £6.25.
There is no obligation to keep the subscription. If you dislike it (which I’m 99.9% sure that you won’t), you can cancel at any time with no cancellation fees. If you do like it (which i’m 99.9% sure that you will), then the following month it will cost £25.00 a month. Which is still a complete bargain. Where can you go on a trip out for only £5 for two people? Because that’s what it averages out at, with 5 surprise visits a month. It’s that good value that although we haven’t been able to fit in a few activities (high ropes, virtual reality gaming, comedy night and tribute band evenings at the beirkeller in Birmingham) we do not feel like we have lost money by not going. Each month the activities (box total) are always worth £60 or more. I think I worked out one month would have cost us over £100 if we had paid for each activity ourselves not using the Buckt subscription.
So, would you like to give it a try?
